SGI is constructing new streets in Dolny Mokotów.
Residents of Dolny Mokotów will gain new streets. SGI has built a section of Pułku AK Waligóra Street and Pułku AK Ryś Street. The cost of constructing these streets amounts to nearly PLN 2.5 million. The newly built roads will help connect the area where a primary school is planned for this rapidly developing district.
Pułku AK Waligóra Street will be a four-lane, two-way road with a green median strip separating the directions of traffic. Sidewalks and bicycle paths will also be built on both sides of the street. The street will be approximately 150 meters long. Meanwhile, Pułku AK Ryś Street will be a two-lane road about 50 meters long, intersecting with Pułku AK Waligóra Street. This shorter street will lead directly to the residential estate Moja Bluszczańska, which is being developed by SGI.
— These are further sections of public roads that we are building in the area. In 2021, we built Piniowa Street in Mokotów at a cost of PLN 1.6 million. We attach great importance to the surrounding infrastructure, which also affects the comfort of living in a given location. For this reason, in agreement with the Mokotów District Office, we have built these streets — says Robert Stachowiak, CEO of SGI.
SGI will also redevelop a section of Bluszczańska Street and build a 365-meter section of public road for over PLN 5.8 million as part of the Bluszczańska III investment.
— When carrying out investments in areas lacking road or sewage infrastructure, we are not afraid to engage in discussions with district offices or city hall — officials see the benefit of cooperating with a developer because it allows us to modernize city areas together, and most importantly, efficiently. In this way, new streets are built at the developer’s expense next to developing housing estates, which is also a great advantage for the families moving in. However, it sometimes happens that the expectations of local authorities towards investors are too high and, consequently, too costly for the developer to take over the district’s or city’s responsibility for providing infrastructure — explains Robert Stachowiak from SGI.
