SGI is constructing new streets for the residents of Łódź.

Residents of the Sokołówka Estate in Łódź will gain new streets. The developer SGI is building roads for them that will make it easier to reach the city center. They are expected to be ready before summer.

SGI is building in Łódź the Nad Sokołówką and Pancerną streets, which are ultimately intended to become public roads. In total, 350 meters of streets will be built, accessible to both pedestrians and drivers. This will improve access to Świętej Teresy Street and further toward the city center.

For the benefit of residents

“When creating new estates, we consider not only the comfort of apartments or shared spaces within the buildings but also the immediate surroundings, which significantly impact the quality of life in a given location. That’s why, next to the Sokołówka estate, we are building an access road, in accordance with the local zoning plan. It consists of two streets with sidewalks and full street lighting. We expect to complete the work between May and June this year, and as soon as the road is ready, we will hand it over to the city. This is exactly the approach that SGI represents as a responsible developer that creates functional estates harmoniously integrated into the urban landscape,” says Robert Stachowiak, CEO of SGI.

Previously, while constructing the Barciński Park estate in the center of Łódź, SGI expanded Tylnia Street, equipping it with additional parking bays.

We are pleased to host responsible investors in Łódź who take a broader view of their projects. The construction of accompanying infrastructure — roads, sidewalks, or additional parking spaces — has a city-building character and fosters positive relationships among residents. Convenient access will benefit not only the residents of the newly built development but also those living in other buildings on Nad Sokołówką Street,” says Adam Pustelnik, Deputy Mayor of Łódź.

Close to the center and nature

The Sokołówka Estate is located right above the Sokołówka River valley and in direct proximity to Mickiewicz Park. Thanks to this location, residents will have daily access to the charms of nature, tranquility, and clean air. There are also nearby bike paths and sports clubs, including tennis courts. For those who prefer city entertainment, the proximity to the Manufaktura Shopping Center is a great advantage — it can be reached by public transport in less than 10 minutes. Sokołówka is also well connected to other districts of Łódź.

The next stage of the Sokołówka investment was designed by the Mellon architectural studio. The building consists of two parts: one five-story section and another eight-story section, connected on the ground floor by a garage hall with 63 parking spaces and bike storage units. There are 63 apartments on offer, ranging from 52 to 123 sqm, with two to five rooms. The apartments on the top floors additionally feature large terraces.
